Romas Viesulas (1918-1986) - the most internationally recognized Lithuanian graphic artist. The artist held over 50 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous joint and group exhibitions in the USA, France, Germany, Yugoslavia, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Japan, Chile, Australia, Mexico, and Canada. Viesulas's works are held in more than 40 museums, galleries, and libraries worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, the San Francisco Museum of Fine Arts, the Seattle Art Museum (USA), the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis (Minnesota, USA), the Art Institute of Chicago, Harvard University Library, the Museum of Modern Art in Kamakura (Japan), the Vatican Museums, the National Library in Paris, the National Museum in Krakow, and many others.
