Antanas Kmieliauskas – museum author. In Lithuania, works are held by LNDM, NČDM
Created in 1972, this anniversary work is dedicated to Christian Selle on his 70th birthday. The piece features a strict geometric structure where circular and square forms create a sense of the cyclical nature of time. The central motif—piercing eyes framed in a contrasting play of light and shadow—serves as a symbol of wisdom and life's retrospection. The technolitic print technique allows the artist to create a texture reminiscent of ancient metal or wood, lending the work a monumental, historical quality.
