Created in 1984 for Isabella Anna, this work embodies the classical idea of spiritual growth. The dominant Latin inscription "Per aspera ad astra" (Through hardships to the stars) is visually enhanced by the motif of a winged human figure soaring through a spatial, architectural frame. The artist's perfected technolitic print technique allows for exceptionally deep textures and a mystical color palette, emphasizing the dynamism and momentum of the composition.
