T. Tegene earned her Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the Alle School of Fine Arts and Design in 2009. Currently, she actively creates and participates in art exhibitions. She works in the field of etching and mixed media. The artist explores subjective everyday experiences, seeks the reasons for human individuality and the origins of emotions. T. Tegene believes that human identity is given to a person from birth and is established through the processes of socialization. In her work, the artist reflects on her emotions, dreams, and personal experiences, speaks about alienation, marginalization, pain, suffering, and fear, depression, and the desire to live.
