Solo exhibition "Labyrinths of Life: Shadow Realities" at H – Gallery, Paris, France, in 2024.

The work is inspired by the “Blue Roofs” conspiracy theory. This theory emerged after the wildfires in Hawaii in 2023, when conspiracy theorists claimed that the fires were caused by “cosmic lasers” – directed energy weapons (DEWs). Allegedly, blue objects – cars, trash bins, roofs, umbrellas, etc. – remained unharmed because lasers “cannot see” the color blue.

Exploring this conspiracy theory, Linas Kaziuliolis created several works imagining architects designing blue buildings and roofs, clients commissioning these roofs, and roofers installing them, all in response to the theory’s spread.
