ALPHA began with abstract painting and realism. It was only after he picked up a camera that the inspiration for his contemporary work emerged. As the artist notes, a camera can capture reality perfectly in seconds, making it unnecessary to replicate the same image on canvas.
On ALPHA ODH’s canvases, a tense and often threatening urban existence unfolds. The introspection and social commentary that permeate his work seek to initiate a dialogue about the human condition.
