Théo Tobiasse (1927-2012) - a world-renowned Litvak artist. Teo (Eidesas) Tobiasas was born into a Litvak family in Jaffa. Shortly thereafter, the family returned to Lithuania, but after a few years, seeking a better life, they all moved to Paris.
T. Tobias's paintings, graphics, ceramics are preserved in collections of museums worldwide, stained glass windows and mosaics adorn churches and public buildings, sculptures grace parks and squares. Private galleries and collectors of contemporary art in Western Europe, the USA, and Israel eagerly acquire his paintings and lithographs.
