Part of the "Diaspora" series created in 1968, Tobiasse’s "Diaspora" comprises a total of 19 color lithographs, each hand-signed by the artist and reflecting his exploration of Jewish identity, exile, and spiritual resilience.

This expressive work depicts the symbolic return of Jewish history and memory. The shofar, a religious instrument, dominates, recalling the continuity of spirituality and tradition. The large figure and the heads emerging from it represent the ancestors and the collective past, while the small man with the cart symbolises the continuation of life and the connection between generations.
