The impressive creative openness of the poster artist, photographer, graphic artist, and illustrator Stasys Eidrigevičius does not hide the power of his painting. Being a virtuoso of chromatic dance, he invents a world of absolute innocence, always with a mysterious aura of irony. Astonished that it exists, he observes the world confidently, having reduced forms to a stunning effect. Infused, metamorphic, and slightly human, this dangerously otherworldly creation is an unforgiving existence. Grotesque and fantastical images never stray far from each other. The highlighted, labyrinthine, and ever-present strange face lurks in every work and is an unimaginable self-portrait. This is remarkably latent, bursting through the walls of expression, claims Christian Noorbergen. ("Contemporary Lithuanian Art").
