Sign.: At the bottom A.Šimkutė  1/1  2019

Flowers, bearing seeds, from A.Šimkutė's flora.

The Black One – Flower I – seems simpler, but only at first glance – it's open, yet doesn't fully let others in. It wants to communicate but doesn't yet know how to do so safely, without harming itself.

Artist: Aurelija Šimkutė
