Collection: Labyrinths of Life: The Dark Realities | EXHIBITION

Solo painting exhibition by Linas Kaziulionis (b. 1993, Lithuania) invites visitors to immerse themselves in the complex and often misleading interpretation of our reality. Labyrinths of Life: The Dark Realities is the artist’s exploration of how conspiracy theories and false information shape our perception of the world, aiming to reveal its hidden sides.

The artist’s works convey the emotional and visual tension arising from the chaos of information flow and the complexity of contemporary life. Visitors will see pieces that not only tell different stories but also encourage reflection on everyday experiences and the information we consume.

The exhibition’s title, Labyrinths of Life: The Dark Realities, symbolizes the complicated and often deceptive paths we walk in trying to understand our reality. By choosing to investigate well-known conspiracy theories, the artist creates a space where visitors can contemplate the influence of these theories on our perception of reality. However, the artist does not seek to fully expose these theories — instead, he invites viewers to dive into hidden symbols that allow interpretation of the works through personal thoughts and emotions. Each piece is a metaphor where symbolism and mysticism intertwine, offering viewers the opportunity to discover unique meanings.

This exhibition also serves as a kind of practice and secret experiment to better understand how we perceive and accept information without fact-based verification. Visitors are encouraged to reflect on the essential message: fake news can have a significant impact on our lives by shaping attitudes, behaviors, and even interpersonal relationships.

Labyrinths of Life: The Dark Realities calls for critical evaluation of the narratives surrounding us daily and their impact on our reality. The exhibition’s concept is based on the idea that our perception of the world is often influenced by hidden, intriguing, but sometimes dangerous stories. This exhibition aims not only to spark discussion but also to cultivate critical thinking — an essential skill to navigate today’s information labyrinth, where facts and fiction frequently merge, and every step can reveal unexpected facets of reality.
