In 1991 she became the first woman to paint a BMW Art Car.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 2024 her retrospective “Then I Knew I Could Paint Well”, curated by Nontobeko Ntombela, opened at the Iziko South African National Gallery and then began an international tour.
